MRC Street Hockey is fast approaching.

In Person Registrations at the MRC Building 15 Oak Avenue

Sept 11 9 am to 1 pm and Sept 14 7 pm to 9 pm.

Divisions For Winter 2010

Chipmunk 4-5-6 yr old Cost $85 (Chipmunks will play on Saturday and some Sundays)

Penguin 7-8-9 yr old Cost $95

Penguins have 3 events max per week combination of practices and games

Beaver 10-11-12 yr old Cost $95

Beavers have 3 events per week combination of practices and games)

Cadet 13-14-15 yr old Cost $95

Cadets have 3 events per week combination of practices and games)

Freshman 16-17-18-19 yr old Cost $95

Freshman Games will be played on MONDAYS AND WEDNESDAYS NIGHTS.

Season Starts Nov 1st (PRACTICES) Dec 1st (GAMES)

Season Ends Approximately END OF FEB

MRC Street Hockey Required Equipment

All equipment is required for all games

HECC certified helmet
Stick (no wood blades)
Cups or pelvic protection
Shin guards
Hockey gloves (no lacrosse, biker or garden gloves)
Elbow pads
Mouth guards (for all divisions)

ALL EQUIPMENT INCLUDING HELMETS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL DIVISIONS

WHENEVER ON THE RINK SURFACE.

LEG PADS ARE REQUIRED TO BE WORN ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE PANTS.

2010 NSHA Champions Cadet A & B

The Marlton Cadet A and Cadet B Chiefs won in convincing fashion on Sunday in Egg Harbor as they became Marlton's first ever Cadet A & B double bracket winners in the Nationals Street Hockey Association Tournament.

Marlton Cadet A won a hard fought battle over Monroe 8 - 2

Marlton Cadet B posted another win over Bellmawr 3-0

Congrats to both teams. Best of luck in Mass.

Rumbos Tournament Clean Up/Set Up - Monday Night 3/8/10

Chiefs,

We are scheduling the setup for our Marlton Tournament on Monday 3/8/10 at 6:00pm. Please advise your teams. We need to make sure the rinks are in good shape, tent is up, grounds prepared, etc…

Our game schedule is being finalized as we speak. Once this is completed, the schedules will be created for our ref’s, snack stand, grille duty, tent sales, 50/50 and raffle table. We will also have an online sign-up sheet for the scorer’s box through the website.

As we informed everyone in our parent/player meeting, the success of the tournament is contingent upon the volunteer work of the parents, coaches and players. Our hockey parents are second to none. Let’s keep it going and continue to host the best street hockey tournament in South Jersey.

Coaches, please don’t forget to reach out to all your family, friends, neighbors, in-town teams, etc… to remind them of our tournament. The proceeds we gain from our tournament supports our tournament program.

Coaches,

Thank you all for coaching this season in our Street Hockey league. It was a tough season with the weather but hopefully you all had a good time and will be back next season.

We will be having EQUIPMENT turn in on Saturday morning at 10 to 11 am at the hockey rinks. Please bring all MRC Equipment to the trailer on Saturday. Goalie equipment and hockey balls please.
